Discover our wheated difference and learn how it's made.
UNLOCK THE PERFECT PAIRING
Whiskey and ginger first came together
as a medicinal concoction in the early
1800s. Today, it remains a popular flavor
combination in a range of classic and
 modern cocktails—made all the more
 smooth by mixing with Larceny.
Larceny Bourbon and ginger—whether
it be ginger ale, ginger beer, or a liqueur
like Domaine de Canton—make for an
 elevated pairing. Larceny’s soft,
 wheated
 profile delivers on buttery
caramel and honeyed notes, with a rich
 mouthfeel. This
 richness stands in
 contrast to ginger’s refreshing “bite,”
 which can range from
 sweet and mild
to spicy and sharp. It’s a natural flavor
 enhancer that highlights the
  warm
 spice notes in our Bourbon.
BEER
 VS.
 ALE
Yes, there is a difference—but there
  wasn’t always. The temperance
  movement,
 culminating in 1920s
  Prohibition, prompted some ginger
  beer producers to
 develop alcohol-free

                alternatives—resulting in ginger ale as
 we know it today.
Ginger ale
- Lighter, sweeter flavor
- Effervescence
 from carbonation
- Alcohol-free
- Best mixed in highballs
Ginger beer
- Spicer, sharper punch
- Effervescence from fermentation
- Low ABV (.5% - 5%)
- Best mixed in Mules
